813 ha of AOC vines (0.7% of the Bordeaux vineyard area). Its châteaux have a worldwide reputation and demand far exceeds supply.

From Pomerol in the west to Saint-Émilion in the south, the AOC is surrounded by prestigious neighbors. Its 1,600 ha of vineyards have risen to the forefront of Bordeaux wines

The appellation covers the entire Bordeaux vineyard, a very large geographical area with a great diversity of soils and terroirs.

5,400 ha spread over the 8 communes of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion as well as part of Libourne (average surface area of 8 ha for more than 800 wine-growing properties).

Located to the west of the pretty medieval town of St Emilion, the AOC covers 750 hectares in an undulating landscape ideal for viticulture, made up of plateaus, hillsides and lower slopes.

The AOC is a regional protection label which preserves the name Champagne and its quality, by guaranteeing a geographical production area which is specific to it.
